The SELVANS was developed as a cooperation between Extrema Ratio and the
Master Instructor Daniele Dal Canto of F.I.S.S.S. (the Italian Survival
Federation). It’s a modification of the ONTOS – a military survival
knife – designed to enhance its effectiveness as a civilian tool. A
longer handle and a heavier blade enable enhanced chopping and cutting
action.
The improved survival kit (to be bought separately) includes: whistle, pocket chain saw, water purifying tabs, compass, copper wire, fireball flint and striker, LED light, 2.5 mts paracord and whetstone. Available versions: SELVANS DESERT, SELVANS GREEN.
